Right now, I'm applying the rotation keyframe to the object and setting the rotation of the x axis in the transform window to 360. This works, but the object is rotating around the bottom, instead of the center. WebIf it's not symmetrical: go to edit mode select a vertex that is in the center, press Shift S and click Cursor to selected, then in object mode go to object (menu) set origin, origin to 3D cursor. You are rotating the knob around the origin of your object, see the yellow dot. It´s not at the center of the cylinder.
